RTP gears up for int’l reach

Payments Dive reports that The Clearing House plans to pilot RTP's one-leg-out cross-border capability in the first half of 2027, with BNY among the first participating banks. TCH says rule changes taking effect in September 2026 will allow RTP to serve as the U.S. leg of inbound and outbound international payments; the foreign leg will still use separate infrastructure.
