Nium Debuts USDC Funding for Client Payouts

PYMNTS reports that Nium launched USDC funding for eligible corporate clients. Nium's primary announcement says businesses can deposit USDC into a Nium account, have it converted and credited as U.S. dollars, and then make fiat payouts through Nium's existing network in more than 190 countries. The service is available now, and Nium says existing clients do not need a new integration.

Visa Joins MAS-Led BLOOM Initiative to Connect Traditional Payments and Stablecoin Networks

Visa announced that it joined the Monetary Authority of Singapore-led BLOOM initiative, with Nium as Visa's first partner to pilot stablecoin settlement under the program. The companies say the pilot will explore cross-border settlement seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, while connecting Visa's payment network with regulated U.S.-dollar- and euro-denominated stablecoins.

Nium launches domestic card issuance in the US

The Paypers reports that Nium launched domestic card issuance in the United States, extending a platform already used across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East into North America. U.S. customers can use just-in-time funding and issue single-use, multi-use, physical and virtual credentials; existing international customers can extend their card programmes into the U.S. through the same provider.
