The Paypers reports that Standard Chartered and HSBC completed the first live cross-border tokenised-deposit transaction on Swift's blockchain-based ledger. Payment messages moved over the Swift ledger, obligations were recorded on each bank's separate tokenised-deposit system, and Swift matched and netted those obligations before final settlement through existing settlement systems.

Ant International launches FalconTST 2.0 for cross-border FX forecasting

The Paypers reports that Ant International introduced FalconTST 2.0, an updated time-series model for forecasting foreign-exchange risk, liquidity needs and transaction flows in cross-border payments. Standard Chartered maps RMB liquidity, hedging and cross-border market changes

Standard Chartered's Q3 RMB ecosystem analysis says Hong Kong raised its RMB Trade Financing Liquidity Facility from RMB200 billion to RMB500 billion and expanded the annual northbound Bond Connect quota from RMB500 billion to RMB800 billion. It also reports average daily CIPS payment value of RMB1.22 trillion and Q1 panda-bond issuance of RMB88.24 billion, while reviewing new local-currency settlement cooperation between China and Indonesia.
