UniCredit practitioner maps the Digital Euro's limits with Open Banking
In a The Paypers interview, UniCredit open-banking product manager Ajay Krishna says reuse of ISO 20022, Berlin Group API patterns, nexo and CPACE can reduce work at the online API, authentication and acceptance layers. He argues that privacy, offline authorization, settlement, holding limits, funding flows, liability and third-party access remain separate or unresolved, so banks should reuse a common gateway and identity experience while keeping consent, legal authority and data domains distinct by rail.
